ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) are intelligent systems that use advanced technologies (radar, software, cameras) to assist drivers on their journeys.
The future of driving is taking shape today. With ADAS such as Pedestrian AEBS (automatic emergency braking), Renault vehicles can assist you in critical situations. A key step towards increasingly safe and comfortable driving.
Adas are divided into 3 categories: safety, driving and parking.
Their purpose: to help enhance user safety and comfort and designed to reduce the risk of a serious accident.
safety
Intelligent driver-assistance systems analyse driving conditions, warn the driver of risks and can take action if danger is detected.
driving
Various technologies help make driving easier and safer.
parking
Parking aid technologies make manoeuvring easier, help enhance safety and protect your vehicle and your environment.

The system detects the risk of a low-speed head-on collision, warns the driver and triggers automatic braking to avoid or limit the impact. The driver is also informed when a cyclist is on the opposite side, for safer overtaking in urban environments.

The system warns of unintentional lane departure and can correct the trajectory to keep the vehicle in its lane.

Built into the passenger sun visor, it provides better indirect vision and reduces the blind spot opposite the driver.

The system detects and corrects trailer oscillations to help you maintain control of the vehicle in all conditions.

The built-in camera continuously transmits an unobstructed view of the rear to the rearview mirror.

It automatically adjusts your speed to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front, using the brake or accelerator depending on traffic conditions.

Engage reverse gear and a camera transmits the rear view to the screen, with lines to guide and secure your manoeuvres.

Sensors detect obstacles at the front, rear and sides and alert you to make manoeuvering easier, even in tight spaces.

Sensors detect obstacles behind and alert you for safer, faster manoeuvering.

a unique partnership since 2010
Developed between Renault and the emergency services, the aim of this initiative is to allow firefighters to save time, in complete safety, during their interventions in order to save more lives.
Always follow road safety regulations. It is your responsibility to stay alert, drive safely, remain alert of immediate surroundings and be in control of the vehicle at all times. Driver assistance features have speed and other limitations and should not be solely relied on. For more information, please refer to the owner’s manual or visit renault.co.uk/safety.
