The Renault Master has been named ‘Best Large Van’ at the Fleet News Awards 2026, further reinforcing its position as a benchmark in the large van segment for UK fleets.
The sought-after award highlights the Master’s ability to meet the diverse needs of fleet and business users, combining efficiency, practicality and value.
This latest success builds on an exceptional run of industry recognition for Renault Master, which has seen it win over 20 awards since the start of 2025, including International Van of the Year 2025.
Justin Costello, Head of Fleet, Renault UK, said: “The Renault Master continues to set the standard in the large van segment, and this latest recognition at the Fleet News Awards highlights just how well it meets the needs of today’s fleet operators. “Master really does deliver where it matters most for businesses. Whether supporting the transition to electric with Master E-Tech or providing proven capability with ICE versions, it remains a van designed around real-world usability, flexibility, efficiency and value.”
Commenting on why the Renault Master was their large van champion, the Fleet News Awards judges said: “Renault takes the win with the Master thanks to its competitive whole life costs, electric range and efficiency, great loadspace and a pricing policy that works for fleets. The all-important dealer engagement and aftersales support are also excellent.”
The latest-generation Renault Master is available with loadspaces ranging from 11 to 14.8 cubic metres, and is offered in multiple lengths and heights, ensuring it provides a solution for a broad spectrum of trades and operational requirements.
The Master’s appeal is further strengthened by its advanced connectivity, high levels of standard equipment and up to 20 driver assistance systems, supporting safety, comfort and efficiency in everyday use. Its cabin combines a durable, premium feel with practical storage solutions, ensuring it works as a true mobile workspace.
For fleets transitioning to electric, the Master E-Tech electric offers a compelling proposition, providing a driving range of up to 285 miles (WLTP) that can meet the needs of many operators, alongside low running costs and zero tailpipe emissions.
The Renault Master range starts from £33,500 plus VAT, with Master E-Tech electric models available from £37,500 plus VAT after PiVG.
